Vintage Shaftesbury/Eko 12 string Western acoustic guitar This is a very rare early 1970s Eko acoustic badged by the importer (Rose Morris) as the Shaftsbury. A solid, Italian made 12 string with beautiful tone. Plays well with good action and the neck is straight. There are some superficial cracks in the varnish (common in guitars of this age) but these don’t affect the tone. There is also a small hole for a jack plug in the body where a previous owner added a pick-up (now discarded) but this makes no difference to the tone discernible to me. A lovely guitar which is hard to part with after 33 years but it deserves to be played more than it is. Comes with a strap and a vintage hard case which was once white but some clown has painted black - still it does the job. £150.00
